Introduction
Radar tank level sensor is a type of non-contact level measurement instrument that uses radar technology to accurately and reliably measure the level of liquids, slurries, and powders in tanks or vessels. These sensors emit high-frequency electromagnetic waves that penetrate the surface of the material and reflect back to the sensor. By analyzing the time delay and amplitude of the reflected waves, the radar sensor can calculate the distance between the sensor and the material surface, and hence determine the level of the material in the tank.
Radar tank level sensors are suitable for a wide range of applications, including petroleum and chemical processing, food and beverage production, water and wastewater treatment, and many others. They offer high accuracy, stability, and reliability, and can operate in harsh and hazardous environments without the need for frequent maintenance.
